Support for Students

ICCE is happy to assist current students as well as those who have already completed their ICCE certificates. Below are some of the areas we provide support, but do not hesitate to the ICCE Office with any questions you have.

Applying to University

Students wanting to apply to university should do so through the usual channels required by the university of the country in question. However, the ICCE office is very happy to provide advice and assistance as needed.

Contact the ICCE Office and ask for the University Handbook which provides advice on preparing for and applying to university.

UK Students

In most instances, students in the UK will apply for university through UCAS.  Contact the ICCE Office for guidance on submitting your UCAS application.

Application deadline: 15 January

Answering Questions

It is possible that ICCE may not be known to the university or faculty you wish to attend. Because of this, the university or faculty may send you questions to answer as part of the application process. In this case, please contact the ICCE Office for advice on how best to answer these questions as ICCE personnel are equipped with the relevant information. We do not advise that you attempt to explain the qualification on your own.

Rejected Applications

In many countries, universities are autonomous, and acceptance of any application (regardless of qualification) is entirely at the discretion of the admissions officers/tutors. However, if you feel that your application to university has been unfairly rejected, please do not hesitate to contact the ICCE office for advice as ICCE personnel may be able to engage with admissions officers on your behalf.

Applying for Apprenticeships

Many students choose to apply for an apprenticeship. Requirements for apprenticeships differ, but you can contact the ICCE Office for guidance.

ICCE has also gained approval for the funding of apprenticeships in England and Wales. Read more here

Access to Colleges (UK Only)

Students in the UK are eligible for funding when applying to UK Colleges and 6th Forms. For more on this, see Recognition.

When applying to college, it is important to note that ICCE may not be known to the college you wish to attend. Because of this, the college may send you questions to answer as part of the application process. In this case, please contact the ICCE Office for advice on how best to answer these questions as ICCE personnel are equipped with the relevant information. We do not advise that you attempt to explain the qualification on your own. You can also make use of the supporting documents above.

Career Advice

ICCE is committed to helping students find the right career or ministry for them.

Much of this responsibility lies with the relevant school/HEA as they know the student; however, ICCE is happy to provide resources to assist with this process as well as advice on what courses to choose in order to reach specific career goals.

Contact the ICCE Office for access to the following resources:
  • Careers Handbook
  • Work Experience Handbook
